Leo’s Musical Journey

When Leo first came to AM Tutoring, he was a complete beginner on guitar. At just 7 years old, he had never performed in front of an audience and was a little nervous about even picking up his instrument.

From the very first lesson, Leo’s enthusiasm and determination stood out. Our structured, performance-focused approach helped him gain confidence quickly, learning chords, strumming patterns, and basic music theory in a way that was fun and engaging.

Within just a few months, Leo was ready to take his first step onto a stage. He performed in his first showcase, gaining invaluable stage experience and the thrill of sharing music with an audience with over 80 guests. The confidence he built there became the foundation for everything that followed.

Over the next year, Leo continued to grow rapidly. With tailored one-to-one lessons, band workshops, and opportunities to perform in group shows, he progressed from beginner pieces to more challenging songs. His dedication, combined with our performance-led teaching philosophy, meant that by the end of 2025, Leo had participated in three full shows — each one more polished and confident than the last.
